This role involves providing expert maintenance, repair, and installation services for a variety of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, 3-6 years field service experience, and the ability to work independently in diverse environments. A valid driver's license is required. Clean driving record is required. This position offers an excellent opportunity for technicians with experience in HVAC and refrigeration to advance their careers within a dynamic company. Need yo be able to troubleshoot units on your own. Duties Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of light commercial HVACR systems, including air conditioning units and boilers. Diagnose issues using schematics, electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical inspection techniques. Repair refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration units, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Conduct equipment repairs involving welding, plumbing, and appliance repair as needed. Read and interpret HVAC design schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose system problems. Maintain detailed service reports and document work performed for client records. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC and mechanical systems. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards. Experience Proven service technician experience in HVAC/R or related field service roles. Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics interpretation, and mechanical systems. Experience with refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration preferred. Familiarity with plumbing, boiler operation, and appliance repair is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and maintenance procedures. Hands-on experience with welding and equipment troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters. Demonstrated ability to read technical schematics and perform complex repairs in commercial settings. Prior experience working as a mechanic or in field service roles is necessary. This position requires a dedicated professional with strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to quality service delivery in commercial HVAC/R environments.
