Job Description

Tired of service calls where speed matters more than doing it right? Want to fix the problem, treat people well, and go home knowing your work mattered? What You'll Do Diagnose and repair residential split systems, heat pumps, packaged units, and furnaces Perform seasonal maintenance and tune-ups on maintenance-agreement customers Handle refrigerant recovery, charging, and leak detection per EPA 608 requirements Troubleshoot electrical components, control boards, thermostats, and ductwork issues Explain findings to homeowners in plain language and present repair options honestly Complete job documentation, photos, and invoicing in the field on a company tablet Rotate through on-call coverage [frequency, e.g., one week every six] What We're Looking For Required 2-5 years of hands-on residential HVAC service experience Active EPA Section 608 certification (Type II or Universal) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Comfort working in attics, crawlspaces, and on rooftops in summer heat Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet through a full service day Strong customer-facing communication — you're the face of the company in someone's home Who We Are At Olson Superior, this is more than another HVAC job. Diagnose accurately, explain clearly, and do right by the homeowner. This is residential service work where small details matter. Treat each home like your own, handle the unpaid extras that leave a lasting impression, and leave customers feeling cared for, not sold to. The best days end with trust earned.
