We provide comprehensive heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services for residential and commercial clients, including installation, maintenance, and repair solutions. As a BBB-accredited company since 2015, we've built our reputation on superior customer service, integrity, and quality workmanship. Our experienced team delivers reliable HVAC solutions with professionalism and attention to detail that comes from treating every customer like family. What we are looking for We're looking for a Lead Residential HVAC Technician to be the go-to technical resource for our residential service team. This isn't just a field tech role — you'll be the person other techs turn to on complex calls, and the one setting the standard for quality workmanship and professionalism on every job. You'll handle advanced diagnostics and repairs, guide junior technicians, and make sure White Mechanical's service standards are reflected in everything the team delivers. What You'll Be Doing Diagnose and repair complex residential HVAC systems — furnaces, condensers, air handlers, compressors, ductwork, and more — serving as the field resource for escalated and technically challenging calls Provide hands-on mentorship and coaching to junior and mid-level technicians; review work quality and reinforce service standards in the field Perform and oversee preventative maintenance on residential HVAC equipment Handle refrigerant work in full compliance with EPA Section 608 — recovery, recharge, and leak detection Communicate findings and recommendations to homeowners in a clear, professional way that builds trust Identify opportunities for system upgrades and service agreements, and help technicians develop confidence doing the same Keep accurate records of all service work, parts, and follow-up items in ServiceTitan Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergency service response Maintain your company vehicle and tools in clean, operational condition — and hold your team to the same standard This role includes a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergency coverage. We'll be upfront about it: it's real, it comes up, and you'll also be available to support technicians handling calls remotely when needed. We share the rotation fairly across the team. If that works for your lifestyle, great. Better to know going in.
