Job Description

About the role Aire Engineering LLC is seeking a dependable and motivated HVAC/R Maintenance technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has commercial HVAC/R experience, basic troubleshooting skills, and takes pride in providing safe, quality workmanship. This position will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, service,and repair of HVAC/R equipment while working independently and alongside experienced technicians to ensure systems operate safely and efficiently. Duties Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC/R systems. Utilize tools such as a multimeter to diagnose electrical issues and ensure proper functionality of equipment. Support property maintenance tasks, ensuring that all mechanical systems are operating efficiently. Collaborate with senior technicians to troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations at all times. Qualifications 2-5 years of residential or commercial HVAC/R service experience. Working knowledge of HVAC/R systems and principles. Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical and mechanical issues. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Requirements Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an HVAC technical training program or apprenticeship preferred.
Certifications:
Universal EPA Section 608 certification required; NATE or HVAC Excellence certification is a plus.
Experience:
2-5 years of experience in the HVAC/R Field.
Technical Skills:
Basic understanding of electrical circuits, refrigeration cycles, and system diagnostics.
Tools & Equipment:
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments such as multimeters and pressure gauges.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and tolerate varying environmental conditions.
Customer service:
Professional communication skills and ability to interact courteously with clients and team members.
Additional Requirements:
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record. Ability to pass a background check. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compensation:
Starting pay will be determined based on relevant HVAC/R experience, technical skills, certifications, and overall qualifications.
