We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Controls Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC mechanical systems, controls, and building automation systems. This role is responsible for the programming, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of HVAC control systems in commercial and industrial settings.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and calibrate various HVAC control systems, including DDC (Direct Digital Control) systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and building automation systems (BAS). Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning HVAC control systems, identifying and resolving issues related to sensors, actuators, controllers, and communication networks. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Collaborate with other technicians, engineers, and project managers to ensure the smooth operation of HVAC control systems. Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and system documentation. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends in HVAC controls.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC Controls Technician or a related field. Proficient in the installation and configuration of at least one BAS/EMS System. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, control theory, and electrical systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing HVAC control systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Salary:

$30.00 - $80.00 per hour
