In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of HVAC equipment across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to apply their technical knowledge in a fast-paced, field service environment that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Duties Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration units (including ammonia refrigeration), and related mechanical equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs efficiently. Conduct equipment inspections using tools such as ohmmeters and welders to ensure system integrity and safety compliance. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and reports documenting all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems to support building operations. Operate a driver vehicle safely for field service visits while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC service technician or in a similar field service role with construction or mechanical background preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair including refrigeration systems, boilers, appliances, and HVAC units. Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design documents accurately. Proficiency with tools such as ohmmeters and familiarity with electrical troubleshooting methods. Experience working in property maintenance or appliance repair environments is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL or driver certification is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently in the field under safety guidelines.
