• 45 per hour Allegiance Heating & Air Conditioning is an established, family-owned San Diego company seeking an experienced HVAC Lead Installer & Service Technician.

We need someone who can take ownership of an installation from the morning job review through startup, cleanup and customer walkthrough. This is a true lead position for someone who can perform quality work, direct an assistant and communicate effectively with the office, field management and customers. What You'll Do

• Lead residential and light-commercial HVAC installations and service calls
• Review the approved scope, equipment and materials before leaving for the job
• Install furnaces, condensers, heat pumps, air handlers, coils, line sets and ductwork
• Complete electrical, low-voltage, drain and ventilation connections within your qualifications
• Direct and train installer assistants
• Maintain jobsite safety and protect the customer's property
• Perform startup, testing and final quality checks
• Complete required photos, notes and job documentation
• Communicate material, scope or scheduling concerns promptly
• Keep the jobsite, vehicle, tools and equipment organized
• Provide a professional customer walkthrough at completion What We're Looking For
• Previous experience independently completing HVAC installations
• Experience leading an installation crew or training assistants
• Strong understanding of residential installation practices, codes and safety
• Ability to read job scopes, equipment information and installation instructions
• Valid driver's license and ability to qualify under company insurance requirements
• EPA certification; EPA Universal is required for consideration at the top of the pay range
• Reliable attendance and dependable transportation to work
• Professional communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, on ladders and in varying weather conditions
