Job Description

Description A well-established HVAC and plumbing company serving Ventura County and the surrounding Southern California markets is hiring experienced Lead Installers to run residential system installations from start to finish. This is a hands-on lead role for a technician who takes pride in clean, code-compliant work and can own a job site from rough-in through startup. You will work with quality equipment, steady year-round volume, and a company that stands behind its people. Key Responsibilities Lead residential HVAC system installations (furnaces, condensers, air handlers, and ductwork) from rough-in through startup Work from installation plans, load calculations, and equipment specifications to set and connect new equipment Commission and verify systems to manufacturer specifications and local code Direct and mentor install helpers and apprentices on the job site Communicate professionally with homeowners and keep the work area clean and protected Complete startup documentation, photos, and required paperwork for each job Coordinate with dispatch and the install coordinator to keep jobs on schedule Skills, Knowledge & Expertise 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience, including time running installs as a lead Strong working knowledge of ductwork, refrigerant line sets, brazing, and equipment startup EPA 608 certification Comfortable reading install plans and applying proper load and airflow requirements Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record Professional, customer-facing demeanor while working in occupied homes Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen Benefits Medical/Dental/Vision 401(k) match Profit sharing Paid time off & holidays Accrued vacation time Company-provided tech & uniforms Company vehicle About Hire Right Recruiting At Hire Right LLC , we partner with skilled trades and service businesses to build teams that last.
