In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential settings. Your expertise will ensure our customers enjoy comfortable indoor environments through precise system installation and troubleshooting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge HVAC technology while delivering exceptional service to homeowners. A strong mechanical aptitude, construction experience, and excellent customer service skills are essential to thrive in this energetic role. Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans Conduct system diagnostics using electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot equipment issues effectively Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity Repair and replace faulty components within mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and plumbing systems Interpret technical schematics, building automation systems, and electrical diagrams to guide installation and repair processes Test electrical systems and mechanical systems to identify issues and execute appropriate repairs or adjustments Communicate clearly with customers about system operation, maintenance needs, and safety procedures while providing outstanding customer service Skills Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of mechanical systems repair and HVAC installation processes Service technician experience with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and building automation system diagrams accurately Knowledge of HVAC design principles, electrical diagnostics, plumbing basics, and refrigeration systems Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters, and equipment troubleshooting devices Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC system repair, maintenance, and installation techniques Familiarity with electrical systems including wiring, circuit testing, and electrical diagnostics Valid EPA certification for handling refrigerants is required; additional certifications in HVAC/R are a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to homeowners Valid van driver's license for safe transportation between job sites This energetic role invites passionate individuals eager to develop their expertise in residential HVAC systems while delivering top-tier service.
