In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting residential HVAC systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and system reliability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced environment, making a tangible difference in property comfort and safety. Responsibilities Install, service, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, and ductless systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan. Conduct field service visits to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems involving plumbing, refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration systems, and appliance repair. Use diagnostic tools to test electrical components and ensure proper system operation. Perform mechanical repairs on HVAC components as needed, ensuring safety standards are met. Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and document all repairs or installations performed for compliance and future reference. Experience Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC systems installation and maintenance. Familiarity with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) systems, including the refrigeration cycle. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Hands-on experience with equipment repair in field service environments involving mechanical troubleshooting and electrical testing.
