HVAC Installer - Full-Time (Hourly)

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour DOE Full-Time | In-Person Position Summary We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Installer to join our team at American Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical . This role is responsible for installing residential and light commercial HVAC systems with precision, efficiency, and professionalism. You'll play a key role in ensuring installations are completed to code, on schedule, and to the high standards our company is known for. Key Responsibilities - HVAC Installer Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and duct systems. Read and interpret blueprints, job layouts, and technical specifications. Ensure all installations meet local mechanical codes and safety standards. Coordinate with team members and other trades to maintain project efficiency. Perform system start-ups, testing, and basic troubleshooting. Complete job documentation accurately and communicate progress clearly. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site. Provide professional customer interaction during installations and walkthroughs. Assist with material handling, equipment setup, and job site preparation. Qualifications - HVAC Installer 2-5 years of HVAC installation experience required. Strong understanding of residential and light commercial HVAC systems. Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Organized, reliable, and consistent attendance. Valid driver's license with clean driving record. EPA certification preferred. Familiarity with Eagle, Pitkin, and Garfield Counties is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly. Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and mechanical rooms. Frequent climbing, kneeling, bending, and standing. Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
