Job Description

Our client, a premier regional heating and mechanical services provider, is seeking a seasoned, highly autonomous HVAC & Boiler Maintenance Technician . We are looking for an experienced technician who is just as comfortable working on hydronic loops, pumps, and boiler controls as they are servicing standard forced-air HVAC equipment. We don't want to micromanage you, and we don't want to train you on the basics. We need a veteran maintenance professional who can review a work order, head out to the site, accurately diagnose or service the system, and execute the work with complete confidence. Work Monday-Thursday from 7am to 4pm with often times half-day on fridays (Finish by 12pm unless there is an important service call) so you can start your weekend early. $500/

team BBQs, paid for lunches and more. The Role (What You Do Day-to-Day)
Boiler & Hydronic Maintenance:
Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, tune-ups, and repairs on residential and light commercial boilers (hot water and steam), circulator pumps, zone valves, expansion tanks, and hydronic heating loops.
HVAC Preventative Service:
Inspect, clean, troubleshoot, and repair furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, AC units, and ventilation equipment.
System Tuning & Efficiency:
Conduct combustion efficiency testing, burner adjustments, pressure checks, and control calibrations to ensure safe, peak system operation.
Autonomous Problem Solving:
Autonomously manage your daily service calls, diagnose complex mechanical or electrical faults, and communicate findings clearly to equipment owners.
On-Call Rotation:
Participate in a fair, rotating "on-call" schedule to support emergency heating and maintenance calls.
What We Are Looking For Industry Experience:
3+ years of hands-on experience specifically servicing, maintaining, and repairing both boiler/hydronic systems and standard HVAC equipment .
Specialized Knowledge:
Deep working understanding of boiler piping, pressure vessels, gas/oil burner assemblies, hydronic controls, and cold-weather forced-air systems.
Certifications & Licensing:
EPA Universal Certification preferred (Boiler operator/license or NATE certifications are a big plus).
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
