Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and other mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Perform electrical repairs related to HVAC/R systems, appliances, and building infrastructure. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference. Assist with construction projects or upgrades by providing technical support and ensuring safety standards are met. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during major repairs or installations when necessary. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime and operational disruptions. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical equipment. Strong understanding of schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and refrigeration equipment. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, construction practices, and general maintenance procedures. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently using diagnostic tools and technical documentation. Leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate with external contractors as needed. Excellent communication skills to clearly document work performed and collaborate effectively with team members.
