We are growing and looking for an experienced Finish Carpenter who takes pride in precision work and understands that the final details define the project.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Commercial HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, the ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings, and a commitment to delivering reliable, code-compliant installations. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and experienced in commercial mechanical systems. This position reports to the Mechanical Foreman or Superintendent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units (RTU's), split systems, chillers, air handlers, and ductwork
• Perform equipment start-ups and system testing
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical components
• Install thermostats, controls, and related system components
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings and specifications
• Ensure installations comply with local building codes and project requirements
• Perform preventative maintenance and system diagnostics
• Coordinate with electricians, plumbers and other trades
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company safety standards

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience (Required)
• EPA Universal Certification (Required)
• At least 3 years of new install experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical components
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• Ability to read and interpret construction and mechanical drawings
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in various jobsite conditions
• Reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
