Overview We're hiring an experienced, skilled, dependable, HVAC Certified Maintenance Technician to support two well-maintained apartment communities in
Lake County:
Atwater in Tavares and Bristol Park in Mount Dora. You'll be the go-to person for keeping our residents' homes safe, comfortable, and running smoothly. If you take pride in quality work, communicate well with residents, and like the variety that comes with multi-family maintenance, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Respond to and complete resident service requests promptly and professionally Diagnose and repair issues across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances Complete apartment turnovers to make-ready standards (minor drywall, paint touch-up, fixture replacement, repairs) Perform routine preventive maintenance on building systems and common areas Maintain pool area, breezeways, and grounds; assist with light landscaping as needed Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies Document all work orders accurately and keep parts/supplies inventory organized Identify safety hazards and ensure work meets code and company standards
Requirements:
What We're Looking For 2+ years of multi-family or apartment maintenance experience preferred Hands-on knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repair HVAC Certified Own basic hand tools Strong customer service skills and a respectful, professional demeanor with residents Able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, work in attics/crawl spaces, and work outdoors in Florida weather Available for on-call rotation including some evenings, weekends, and holidays
Experience:
apartment maintenance: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
HVAC Certification (Required)
