HVAC Technician - Installation, Service & MaintenanceJob Summary We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our growing team. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues using diagnostic equipment, schematics, technical manuals, and manufacturer specifications. Install, repair, replace, modify, and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment. Service and maintain air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and related mechanical systems. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, airflow, and control-system problems. Read and interpret HVAC schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and equipment specifications. Perform field service work at multiple commercial and residential locations. Identify system deficiencies and recommend appropriate repairs, upgrades, or replacement options. Perform equipment modifications, mechanical repairs, welding, and fabrication when required. Test and commission systems to verify proper operation, performance, efficiency, and safety. Follow all company, OSHA, and job-site safety procedures. Maintain accurate service records, work orders, equipment information, and repair documentation. Communicate professionally with customers, property owners, office personnel, and team members. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Respond effectively to service calls and prioritize work based on urgency and customer needs. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician . Strong background in HVAC installation, service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Extensive field-service experience with residential and/or commercial HVAC systems. Ability to diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, airflow, and control-related problems. Proficiency in reading and interpreting HVAC schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals. Hands-on experience with HVAC diagnostic tools and test equipment. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document completed work. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Ability to travel between multiple job sites as required. Must be able to speak, read, and communicate effectively in English.
