Job Summary HVAC Service & Installation Technician Hot Heads Heating & Cooling Pay:

Starting at $25/hour + commission

Experience:

2-5 years preferred Hot Heads Heating & Cooling is looking for an experienced HVAC technician who can handle both residential service and installations. We're looking for someone who can confidently troubleshoot HVAC systems, complete repairs, assist with or complete change-outs and installations, and provide a great experience for our customers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work and wants the opportunity to earn beyond their hourly rate through commissions. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot residential HVAC systems Perform service calls, repairs, and preventative maintenance Install and replace residential HVAC systems Complete equipment change-outs Install air handlers, condensers, heat pumps, thermostats, and related equipment Perform brazing, vacuuming, charging, and system start-ups Test completed installations for proper operation Explain diagnoses and repair options clearly to homeowners Identify legitimate opportunities for repairs, upgrades, and system replacements Maintain clean and professional job sites Complete service and installation documentation Follow company procedures and safety standards Requirements 2-5 years of HVAC experience preferred Experience with both service and installation EPA certification Valid driver's license Basic HVAC hand tools Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently when needed Comfortable interacting directly with homeowners Reliable, professional, and punctual Able to perform the physical requirements of HVAC service and installation work Bonus if you have your own gauges, vacuum pump, torches, or additional HVAC equipment.
