Experienced HVAC Service Technician / Installer -

Part-Time Location:

Sebring, FL We are looking for an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician / Installer to join our team on a part-time basis. We are seeking a dependable, professional technician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on residential HVAC experience. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in service, diagnostics, residential installations, heating systems, and heat pumps, along with excellent customer service and sales skills. This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must be able to confidently handle residential service calls, diagnose problems, communicate options to homeowners, and perform quality repairs and installations. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential HVAC systems Service and troubleshoot residential heating and heat pump systems Perform complete residential HVAC system replacements and installations Work on split systems, package units, heat pumps, air handlers, condensers, electric heat strips, thermostats, and controls Properly evacuate, charge, start up, test, and commission HVAC systems Diagnose electrical, refrigerant, airflow, drainage, and control-related issues Clearly explain system problems and recommended solutions to homeowners Present appropriate repair, replacement, upgrade, and indoor air quality options Identify legitimate sales opportunities while providing professional and honest customer service Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC field experience EPA Section 608 Certification required Strong residential heating and heat pump experience Strong residential HVAC service and diagnostic experience Residential HVAC installation and change-out experience Strong troubleshooting skills Strong sales and customer service skills Ability to professionally explain repair and replacement options to homeowners Must own and maintain your own basic HVAC hand tools Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Must be physically capable of performing residential HVAC service and installation work Must be able to pass a drug screening Drug-free workplace
