We're looking for a Commercial HVAC Technician II who is ready to take the next step — someone with solid field experience who can troubleshoot, support retrofit work, and continue developing toward a lead role. What You'll Do Service & Troubleshooting Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems, including: RTUs Split systems Basic VAV applications

Troubleshoot:

Electrical systems Mechanical systems Refrigeration systems

Perform:

Preventative maintenance Repairs Basic equipment startups Support system testing and assist with commissioning activities Retrofit & Small Projects Assist with equipment change-outs and system upgrades Support projects from: Demo Installation Startup Perform duct modifications and tenant improvement (TI) work Read and interpret: Basic drawings Wiring diagrams Scope documents Communicate field issues to the appropriate team members Assist with identifying potential change orders Team & Field Support Work alongside and support Technician IIIs and Foremen on job sites Begin developing leadership skills by mentoring Technician I team members Maintain high standards for: Safety Quality Productivity Professionalism Customer Interaction Represent Addison Smith professionally on customer job sites Communicate findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams Identify potential repair or equipment upgrade opportunities in the field Help build trusted, long-term relationships with our customers What You Bring Experience 3-5 years of commercial HVAC experience Experience in: Commercial service work Retrofit and/or construction environments Exposure to equipment change-outs and system installations preferred Technical Skills Working knowledge of: RTUs Split systems Basic controls Electrical troubleshooting Refrigeration troubleshooting Basic to intermediate ability to read: Blueprints Wiring diagrams Specifications Certifications & Licenses EPA Universal Certification — Required Valid Driver's License with acceptable MVR — Required OSHA 10 — Preferred BAS/Controls exposure — A plus Tools & Technology Mobile field service and work-order systems Procore — Preferred Exposure to BAS platforms, including: Johnson Controls Siemens Honeywell Familiarity with manufacturer equipment, including: Trane Carrier Daikin Why Join Addison Smith?
