HVAC Manager McKeon Heating, Air & Plumbing | Kennesaw, GA Full-Time | Residential HVAC Lead the Team. Own the Standard. Drive the Growth. McKeon Heating, Air & Plumbing is looking for an experienced HVAC Manager to lead the performance, quality, and continued growth of our residential HVAC Service and Installation departments in Kennesaw. This is a key leadership position responsible for building strong teams, maintaining high operational standards, developing our people, and ensuring our customers consistently receive an exceptional experience. What You'll Own As HVAC Manager, you'll have responsibility for the overall health, performance, and growth of our HVAC Service and Installation departments.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading the day-to-day performance of the HVAC Service and Installation teams Developing technicians, installers, leads, and other team members through consistent coaching and accountability Establishing clear performance expectations and ensuring those expectations are consistently met Monitoring department performance and identifying opportunities for improvement Driving healthy, sustainable revenue growth while maintaining strong customer service and ethical service standards Improving the overall productivity and effectiveness of our HVAC teams Overseeing installation quality, efficiency, job completion, and customer satisfaction Reviewing callbacks, warranty issues, installation concerns, and service-related customer escalations Ensuring workmanship consistently meets McKeon's quality standards Identifying training and development needs throughout the department Conducting regular coaching and performance conversations Recognizing high performers while addressing performance issues quickly and consistently Supporting recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and retention of HVAC team members Evaluating staffing and capacity needs as the department grows Working closely with Dispatch, Customer Service, Sales, and company leadership to maintain strong communication across the operation Reinforcing company processes, safety standards, and operating procedures Building a culture centered around accountability, development, teamwork, and exceptional customer service Quality and Growth This role has two major responsibilities: protecting the quality of what we do today and building the team we need for tomorrow. Growth isn't simply about generating more revenue. It means developing better technicians, building stronger installation teams, improving consistency, increasing capacity, reducing callbacks, creating career opportunities, and delivering an experience that earns the customer's trust. Our HVAC Manager will be expected to understand the performance of the department, identify where improvement is needed, and take ownership of making that improvement happen. What We're Looking For The right candidate will bring a combination of HVAC knowledge, operational leadership, and people development. We're looking for: Residential HVAC management or leadership experience Strong understanding of residential HVAC Service and Installation operations Experience leading and developing technicians and installers Strong operational and organizational skills Experience managing departmental performance and expectations The ability to coach employees and hold people accountable Strong communication and problem-solving skills An understanding of residential HVAC sales and service performance A strong commitment to workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction The ability to identify problems and implement practical solutions A growth mindset and desire to continuously improve the department The ability to build trust and accountability across a team Experience as an HVAC Service Manager, Install Manager, HVAC Operations Manager, or similar residential home-services leadership role is preferred.
