Overview Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Service Manager, where you'll lead the charge in delivering top-tier heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate HVAC service teams to execute system repairs, maintenance, and installations efficiently and safely. Oversee the troubleshooting and repair of complex HVAC systems, including refrigeration, boilers, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical systems. Review schematics, blueprints, and building automation systems to diagnose issues accurately and develop effective solutions. Manage field service operations by scheduling work orders, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards. Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, including incident reports, maintenance logs, and equipment repair records. Ensure compliance with safety regulations such as EPA standards and proper handling of refrigerants like ammonia refrigeration. Foster excellent customer relationships through clear communication, technical guidance, and proactive problem-solving. Requirements Proven experience in construction or property maintenance with a strong background in HVAC service technician roles. Extensive knowledge of HVAC design principles, system installation, repair techniques, and mechanical systems troubleshooting. Skilled in reading schematics, electrical diagnostics using tools like ohmmeters, and working with building automation systems. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R equipment repair—including refrigeration systems—and electrical systems diagnostics. Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively for mechanical systems repair and installation tasks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with driver preferred. Certifications such as EPA refrigerant handling certification are required; additional licenses related to HVAC or boiler operation are advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients and team members alike. $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
