Job Description
As an HVAC Senior Service/Chiller Technician, you will perform service and maintenance tasks on commercial and/or industrial HVAC equipment. Ability to travel, as needed, for projects and service performance within the Greater Savannah, GA and Charleston, SC areas. Compensation & Tools Wage Range Starting at: $35.00+/hr. based on qualifications & experience. Company vehicle, iPhone and iPad provided. Job Duties Perform assigned HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting and repair tasks safely in commercial and industrial settings on various types of split systems, packaged rooftop units, heat pumps, pneumatic, electrical control systems, and other mechanical equipment including air-cooled and water-cooled chillers and chilled water systems. Accurately complete required electronic service documentation daily using a handheld device Work independently and collaboratively to complete assignments within designated timeframes Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned Requirements 10 + years of experience servicing, installing, repairing, and/or troubleshooting commercial HVAC systems Preferred experience with RTU, air handlers, split systems, chilled water, and/or boiler systems. Building Automation System control experience (HVAC controls) preferred. Ability to lead a small crew of technicians and/or assist with technical questions. Additional Requirements Complies and promotes company Safety Policy. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Must be able to work independently with and without supervision. Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs. Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, drawings, and other equipment layout materials. EPA Universal certification. OSHA 10 certification (the company will provide if needed). Ability to pass a full background, pre-employment drug screen , and MVR.
