One set of equipment you'll come to know inside out and residents who'll know you by name. Maintenance isn't an afterthought here — it's why residents renew. What we pay and provide $25.00 - $30.00/hour , based on certification and experience All tools, uniforms, and PPE provided—including gauges and recovery equipment. On-call rotation for after-hours emergencies, approximately one week per month, shared across the team. What you'll do HVAC — your primary focus Diagnose, repair, and maintain heat pumps, air handlers, condensers, and thermostats Run scheduled preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment Log refrigerant usage and repairs in compliance with EPA regulations General maintenance Complete resident service requests promptly — most within 24 hours Handle plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, and carpentry repairs Prepare vacant units for move-in, including full HVAC inspection Keep accurate records of work orders, parts, and completed repairs Team and safety Follow all safety standards, EPA regulations, and company policies Communicate clearly and courteously with residents, vendors, and teammates What you need EPA Section 608 certification — Universal preferred, Type II accepted 2+ years of hands-on HVAC diagnostic and repair experience Working knowledge of general apartment maintenance — plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Availability for the on-call rotation Professional presence with residents Nice to have HVAC certification from an accredited technical program Prior multifamily or residential property maintenance experience CPO or CAMT certification Bilingual English/Spanish Where this goes Several of our Lead Techs and Maintenance Supervisors started in this exact seat.
