Job Title:

HVAC Installer Job Description The HVAC Installer will be responsible for installing sheet metal ducts, rooftop units, conditioners, and other mechanical equipment at various sites around Greater Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo, including retirement homes, multi-family buildings, schools, and hospitals. Responsibilities Install sheet metal ductwork and rooftop units. Work with conditioners and other mechanical field equipment. Interpret and work from blueprints. Ensure installations comply with industry standards and safety regulations. Essential Skills Experience with TDF duct installation. Experience installing Spiral ductwork. Proficiency in HVAC troubleshooting and installation. Comfortable working at heights. Possess reliable transportation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ownership of hand tools required for installation. Familiarity with refrigeration systems. Experience in VRF systems is beneficial. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment includes local projects in West Michigan with a first shift starting around 6/7 am and ending at 3/4 pm. Employees will be expected to have their own hand tools and work comfortably at heights. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Grandville, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
