    HVAC Service Technician
  • Job Description
  • The HVAC Service Technician will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems.
This role requires strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to deliver high-quality customer service. Technicians will attend periodic manufacturer training, follow all safety protocols, and represent the company professionally on every service call.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Diagnose HVAC issues and perform repairs on furnaces, AC units, heat pumps, and related equipment.
+ Perform routine maintenance including cleaning, testing, and inspecting system components. + Document service findings and communicate repair recommendations to customers. + Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, refrigerant gauges, and combustion analyzers. + Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Essential Skills
  • + HVAC troubleshooting and repair skills.
+ Customer service experience and the ability to communicate findings professionally. + Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using gauges, meters, hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. + Field experience of 1+ year in residential or light commercial service environments. + Safety mindset with adherence to OSHA and company safety procedures.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • + EPA certification preferred. + Valid driver's license and the ability to be insured. + Basic hand tools and the ability to purchase power tools as necessary. + Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, climb ladders, kneel/bend for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions.

  • Work Environment
  • Work in a team-oriented environment where you will be paired with a journeyman.
The role is busy and requires on-call shifts every 6 weeks, with compensation for those shifts. Work hours are Monday to Friday from around 7 AM to 5 PM, with the potential for 60+ hours per week due to new projects. The dress code includes jeans, work boots, and a work-appropriate t-shirt, which will be provided by the company.

  • Pay and Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $75000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. please see Trevor Johnson for a list of company benefits
