Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial HVAC Install Foreman, where you will lead and oversee the installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems for commercial properties. Responsibilities Lead and supervise installation crews to ensure timely and accurate setup of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and electrical systems in commercial settings Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to guide installation processes Coordinate with project managers to schedule work phases and allocate resources effectively Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies Troubleshoot equipment issues during installation, including mechanical systems repair, electrical diagnostics, and refrigeration problems Oversee the use of hand tools and mechanical systems repair tools to complete tasks efficiently Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and compliance records Requirements Proven experience in construction with a focus on HVAC system installation and mechanical systems repair Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics, building automation systems, electrical systems, and plumbing Hands-on experience with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems including ammonia refrigeration and boiler operations Ability to diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot equipment failures effectively Mechanical knowledge related to appliance repair, property maintenance, air conditioning units, and mechanical systems repair Skilled in using hand tools and equipment necessary for HVAC installation and maintenance tasks Valid driver's license with experience as a van driver or similar role preferred EPA certification or equivalent for refrigerant handling required Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Ability to work in physically demanding environments while maintaining safety standards Join us if you're eager to lead impactful projects in a collaborative environment where your skills are valued.
