In this pivotal role, you will coordinate installation teams, ensure adherence to safety standards, and deliver high-quality HVAC system installations that meet client specifications. Responsibilities Lead and supervise HVAC installation crews, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project plans and specifications Coordinate daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines Interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical drawings to guide installation activities Oversee the installation of HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including EPA standards for refrigerants and handling hazardous materials Troubleshoot equipment issues on-site using electrical diagnostics, ohmmeters, and other hand tools to resolve problems promptly Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure customer satisfaction and project quality standards are met Requirements Proven construction experience with a focus on commercial HVAC system installation and mechanical systems repair Service technician experience with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems Strong knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing, electrical systems, building automation systems, and mechanical knowledge Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues including ammonia refrigeration and boilers Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately; familiarity with electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters is essential Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and property maintenance in commercial environments Proficiency with hand tools used in HVAC installation and repair tasks Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; experience with HVAC system maintenance is highly desirable Valid driver's license with clean driving record; experience as a van driver preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members Mechanical or trade school training in HVAC technology or related fields is preferred Join us as a Commercial HVAC Install General Foreman where your expertise will directly impact the comfort of countless commercial spaces.
