HVAC Installation Field Supervisor Location:
Twin Falls, ID Pay:
$25.00-$40.00 per hour , based on experience
Schedule:

As our commercial division continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced (but will train the right candidate) Commercial HVAC Installation Field Supervisor to lead our installation teams while providing backup leadership and field support for residential installation projects when needed. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys mentoring installers, solving problems in the field, coordinating projects, and ensuring every installation meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The role combines field supervision, scheduling, quality assurance, and technical expertise to help our installation teams succeed. Why Join Terry's Heating and Air Conditioning? $25.00-$40.00 per hour based on experience 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with 4% company match Paid holidays, birthday, vacation, and sick time Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (if applicable) Company phone and uniforms Paid training and continuing education Tool program Stable, year-round employment Family-oriented culture with long-term career growth Leadership opportunities within a growing company Employee appreciation events and success celebrations What You'll Do Supervise commercial HVAC installation crews on retrofit and new construction projects Serve as the primary field leader for commercial installation operations Provide backup leadership and hands-on support to residential installation teams during peak workload or staffing needs Coordinate daily manpower, scheduling priorities, and project execution with management Visit active job sites to ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards Mentor, train, and develop installation technicians to improve productivity and workmanship Review project specifications, layouts, and installation requirements with crews before work begins Assist with material planning, purchasing, and job staging to keep projects running efficiently Troubleshoot installation challenges and provide technical guidance in the field Monitor labor hours, project progress, and installation quality Help reduce warranty callbacks by reinforcing installation best practices Maintain communication with customers, builders, project managers, and office staff throughout each project Ensure company safety procedures and HVAC code requirements are followed on every job Perform additional supervisory and field responsibilities as needed Qualifications 2+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience preferred Previous experience leading or supervising installation crews Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, refrigeration piping, gas piping, controls, and equipment installation Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and mechanical drawings Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities Experience coordinating multiple projects and managing installation schedules Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record Ability to lift 75 pounds and work safely in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments Willingness to support residential installation operations when business needs require The Ideal Candidate You are a working leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and maintaining high installation standards.
