Key Responsi bilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment including walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, rooftop units, split systems, and exhaust/make-up air systems Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and longevity Install, replace, and commission HVAC and refrigeration systems as needed Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system Communicate clearly with customers regarding equipment issues, repair recommendations, and preventative maintenance plans Maintain EPA compliance and adhere to all local, state and federal safety regulations Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked Respond to emergency service calls in a timely and professional manner Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunitiesQualifications:
4+ years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration service EPA Universal Certification required Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical diagnostics, airflow systems, and mechanical troubleshooting Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment is a plus Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints Valid drivers license with a clean driving record required Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters Own industry standard hand tools Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed Compensation Transparency The advertised pay range for this position is $30- $50 per hour .
