In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal comfort and efficiency for our clients. Your mechanical expertise and technical skills will drive successful project completions, from system design to final setup. Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, furnaces, and water heaters per manufacturer's specifications Perform routine maintenance on existing HVAC systems to ensure peak performance and energy efficiency Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment using electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting tools, and mechanical knowledge Read and interpret schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and HVAC design plans to execute installations accurately Conduct system repairs involving plumbing, electrical systems, refrigeration components, and mechanical systems repair Diagnose issues with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports and system modifications Ensure compliance with EPA regulations related to refrigerant handling and environmental safety standards Provide customer service by explaining system operations and maintenance procedures clearly to clients Assist in the training of team members on new installation techniques or equipment updates when necessary Experience Proven construction experience with hands-on installation or maintenance of HVAC systems or related mechanical systems Service technician experience working on HVAC/R equipment with a focus on repairs and troubleshooting Strong mechanical knowledge including familiarity with schematics, electrical diagnostics, plumbing, refrigeration, and building automation systems Experience working with hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, ohmmeters, and specialized HVAC diagnostic tools Knowledge of HVAC system design principles and installation best practices Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Certifications such as EPA refrigerant handling certification are required; additional certifications in electrical or mechanical systems are advantageous Ability to read technical schematics accurately and interpret HVAC design plans effectively Prior experience working with ammonia refrigeration or boiler systems is desirable but not mandatory Join us in delivering top-tier HVAC solutions!
