Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled HVAC/R Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems and refrigeration, along with experience in property maintenance and appliance repair. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC and Refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units and heating systems. Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics using tools such as an ohmmeter to assess system functionality. Troubleshoot issues related to HVAC equipment and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to ensure efficient service delivery. Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work activities. Requirements Proven experience as a commercial HVAC Technician or similar role in property maintenance with 3+ years experience. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance practices. Strong refrigeration knowledge including maintenance, installation, diagnosing and repairing of these commercial systems Familiarity with tools such as welders and diagnostic equipment like ohmmeters. Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints related to HVAC installations. Excellent problem-solving skills with a mechanical aptitude. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Certification in HVAC or relevant technical training is preferred but not mandatory. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed for service calls.
