The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning and ammonia refrigeration. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. The HVAC Installer will work closely with clients to ensure their comfort and satisfaction while adhering to safety standards and regulations. Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including boilers, air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems to determine necessary repairs or replacements. Ensure all installations comply with local codes and regulations. Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Skills Proficient knowledge of HVAC/R systems, including installation and repair techniques. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to plumb, refrigerate, and maintain various HVAC equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose issues efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
