HVAC Installer/Service Technician Location:

Effingham, IL and Central Illinois (travel required)

$25-$40 per hour (dependent on experience) Merz Heating & Air Conditioning, a locally owned and operated HVAC company, is seeking experienced HVAC Installers/Service Technicians to join our team. The position will require traveling throughout Central Illinois (no more than 100 miles from Effingham) and will involve both residential and commercial services/installations, with a focus on repair and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Install and maintain HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, in both residential and commercial settings. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, diagnosing issues and finding solutions to restore functionality. Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. Communicate effectively with clients, providing recommendations and answering questions regarding their HVAC systems. Accurately complete paperwork and documentation related to work performed.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC installation and service. Valid Driver's License. Ability to travel throughout Central Illinois as needed. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document work performed. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
