Job Description
Lead HVAC Installer - $5,000 Signing Bonus We are currently expanding our team and searching for a seasoned Lead HVAC Installer. If you possess the high-level expertise required to manage residential and commercial HVAC and boiler projects autonomously from inception to completion, we invite you to apply. Your Impact As a Lead HVAC Installer, you will manage the installation, wiring, and commissioning of a diverse range of residential and commercial HVAC and hydronic systems, including: Furnaces Air conditioners Heat pumps Ductless mini-split systems Cast-iron boilers Condensing boilers Tankless water heaters Commercial rooftop and split systems Core Responsibilities Manage residential and commercial HVAC and boiler replacement projects independently from start to finish. Help ensure project efficiency by providing clear direction and tasks to assigned helpers. Install equipment in strict accordance with local building codes and manufacturer guidelines. Execute complex boiler piping and hydronic system installations. Perform high-quality copper water piping, soft soldering, brazing, and ProPress tasks. Connect and wire HVAC equipment, control systems, and necessary accessories. Verify that all systems are commissioned and performing at peak operational levels. Conduct thorough equipment startups and system performance testing. Help maintain a safe site by utilizing proper rigging and lifting techniques for equipment placement. Contribute to a safer workplace by keeping your environment organized and tidy. Ensure all installation documentation and project paperwork are completed with precision. Improve customer satisfaction by providing clear education on the operation and maintenance of their new systems. Required Qualifications At least 5 years of professional experience in HVAC installation. Proven ability to independently manage residential and commercial HVAC and boiler installations. Extensive technical knowledge of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, and commercial equipment. Demonstrated ability to organize workflows and supervise helpers effectively. Proficiency in operating ladder lifts and managing crane-assisted equipment installations. Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving history. Physical capability to lift equipment and work in diverse environments including attics, basements, crawlspaces, mechanical rooms, rooftops, and outdoors. Hydronic Expertise Requirements Demonstrated experience installing cast-iron and condensing boilers. Advanced proficiency in boiler piping techniques. Strong skills in copper water piping and soldering. Expertise in soft soldering, brazing, and ProPress methods. Ability to immediately execute and finalize boiler installations without the need for additional training. Preferred Qualifications EPA Certification NATE Certification Experience in mentoring and training apprentices or support staff. Experience with tankless water heater installations. Why Work With Us?
