Job Description
Senior Commercial HVAC Installer / Lead Installer We are looking for a highly skilled Commercial HVAC Installer with 5+ years of experience installing commercial mechanical systems. This position is ideal for someone who can take ownership of projects, lead crews, and maintain the highest installation standards. The right candidate will have strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and the ability to interpret mechanical plans, coordinate with other trades, and solve jobsite challenges efficiently. Responsibilities Install and oversee installation of commercial HVAC equipment of all sizes and types Work with systems including package units, split systems, VRF, mini-splits, and water-source heat pumps Set roof curbs, set rooftop units, and rig equipment Measure, and install sheet metal duct systems Install flex duct, refrigeration piping, and condensate piping Wire low-voltage controls and assist with equipment commissioning Interpret mechanical drawings and coordinate installation accordingly Make field adjustments when design changes are required Lead installation crews and maintain production schedules Maintain professional communication with project managers, contractors, and inspectors Ensure installations meet code requirements, manufacturer specifications, and company quality standards Requirements Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC installation experience Proven ability to read mechanical plans and manage installations from layout to commissioning Strong understanding of duct systems, refrigeration piping, and controls Experience leading installation crews Ability to maintain high quality workmanship and jobsite safety Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications Experience with VRF systems and large commercial projects We are looking for someone who takes pride in their craft and wants to be part of a team that values quality installation and professional workmanship.
