In this role, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain heating and cooling systems, perform tune-ups, and ensure safe, efficient operation in customers' homes. You'll explain repair options clearly, document work accurately, and uphold a strong customer-first, safety-focused culture. Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial HVAC systems Perform routine maintenance, tune-ups, and system inspections for efficiency and safety Install replacement parts and equipment following company and manufacturer standards Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using appropriate tools and testing equipment Communicate findings, repair options, and maintenance recommendations to customers clearly and professionally Complete work orders, documentation, and safety checklists accurately and on time Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company procedures in customers' homes Collaborate with dispatch and teammates to manage daily schedules and emergency calls Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in clean, organized condition Participate in ongoing training to stay current on HVAC technology, codes, and best practices Required Skills HVAC system diagnostics Residential HVAC repair Light commercial HVAC repair Preventive maintenance and tune-ups Electrical troubleshooting for HVACRefrigeration and cooling systems knowledge Reading schematics and wiring diagrams Use of HVAC gauges and testing instruments Safety and code compliance Customer communication and documentation
