Job Description
CoolSys is hiring a Journeyman HVAC technician for our HVAC Wholesale division. In this skilled labor role, you'll install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial HVAC systems for retail, commercial, and industrial customers. You'll handle start-up, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance while upholding our safety-first, customer-focused culture. Working hands-on in the field, you'll partner with sales and engineering teams, use advanced tools and controls, and receive ongoing technical training with clear paths for career growth in HVAC-R and energy-efficient solutions nationwide. Responsibilities Install, start up, and commission commercial HVAC systems for wholesale customers. Diagnose and repair HVAC and light refrigeration issues in the field. Perform preventive maintenance to maximize system reliability and efficiency. Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Ensure all work meets safety, code, and Cool Sys quality standards. Collaborate with sales, engineering, and warehouse teams to support customers. Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in service systems. Provide on-site technical guidance and support to junior technicians.
