Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Apprentice and kick-start your career in the fast-paced world of HVAC . This paid apprenticeship offers hands-on experience working alongside seasoned technicians to develop essential skills in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair. You'll gain valuable knowledge of HVAC design principles—all while contributing to the efficient operation of residential systems. Duties Assist experienced HVAC technicians with installation, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to support system setup and maintenance. Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, repairs performed, and system conditions for ongoing property maintenance.
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; technical school coursework in construction or mechanical trades is a plus. Prior experience as a service technician or in property maintenance is advantageous but not mandatory—training will be provided! Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) systems. Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is desirable. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and testing devices like ohmmeters safely. Good physical condition with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and work in confined spaces as needed.
