Description Mid Coast Hospital Service/Maintenance Support Req #: 87407 Mid Coast Hospital is seeking a full-time HVAC Mechanic to join their team!
Summary:
This position consists of 40 hours per week, day shifts. The HVAC Mechanic role is primarily responsible for the repair and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment to maintain first-class operating condition. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Apprenticeship and/or Post-secondary education with courses in air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical wiring and controls, plumbing, blueprint reading, and/or boiler operation preferred.
License/Certifications:
State License as a Boiler Operator, 3rd or 4th Class and/or Stationary Steam Engineer within one year of start date required. Valid Driver's License required.
Experience:
Three years of experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) or related field required.
