Job Description

Description MaineHealth Corporate Service/Maintenance Support Req #: 75419 Summary The HVAC Mechanic role is primarily responsible for the repair and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment to maintain first-class operating condition. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
Apprenticeship and/or Post-secondary education with courses in air conditioning/refrigeration, electrical wiring and controls, plumbing, blueprint reading, and/or boiler operation preferred.
License/Certifications:
State License as a Boiler Operator, 3rd or 4th Class and/or Stationary Steam Engineer within one year of start date required. Valid Driver's License required.
Experience:
Three years of experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) or related field required.
