Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as an HVAC-R Installer/Helper and become a vital part of delivering top-tier heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical system solutions. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, boilers, and mechanical systems according to schematics and HVAC design plans Support senior technicians in troubleshooting electrical diagnostics, equipment repair, and system failures using hand tools, ohmmeters, and welding equipment Help perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment, including air conditioning units, building automation systems, electrical systems, and property mechanical systems Participate in system repairs involving plumbing, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), electrical diagnostics, and equipment troubleshooting Aid in the inspection of mechanical systems to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards such as EPA regulations Support field service activities by maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner Communicate effectively with customers during service calls to explain work performed and ensure high levels of customer service Experience Construction experience or prior work as a service technician in HVAC/R or property maintenance preferred Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and building automation systems is highly desirable Hands-on experience with HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance including electrical systems and refrigeration technology Mechanical knowledge related to boilers, appliances repair, welding, and general equipment troubleshooting Ability to operate hand tools, ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other diagnostic tools confidently Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus Strong customer service skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving and safety compliance Join us to build your career in a vibrant environment that values technical expertise and dedicated service.
