Job Overview Are you looking for a stable, high-paying career without the student loan debt? We are looking for an HVAC Service Technician Trainee to join our residential team. You do not need prior HVAC experience. We provide 100% paid on-the-job training. You will shadow experienced lead technicians to learn how to inspect, maintain, and repair residential heating and cooling systems Responsibilities Assist experienced technicians with HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair projects Learn to interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes Support the diagnosis and repair of HVAC equipment including boilers, air conditioning units, furnaces, and refrigeration systems. Use hand tools, ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues Participate in customer service interactions by providing professional communication and support during service calls Follow safety protocols related to electrical systems, refrigerants, and mechanical systems to ensure safe work environments Help maintain accurate service records, reports, and logs for all completed work Day to Day Responsibilities Assist lead technicians with maintenance, cleanings, and safety inspections on residential units. Learn to troubleshoot electrical components, refrigerant levels, and airflow issues. Carry tools, maintain parts inventory, and keep the service van clean and organized. Communicate politely with homeowners to explain maintenance services and recommendations. Practice safe handling of tools, ladders, and testing equipment. Requirements Completion of an HVAC program or equivalent field experience Valid driver's license with a good, insurable driving record. Ability to pass a background check. Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, crawl in tight spaces (attics/crawlspaces), and use ladders.
