Job Overview HVAC Service / Maintenance Technician Part-Time or Full-Time | Northern Michigan Service Area International Mechanics is a family-owned and operated business that has been serving our customers for over 25 years. Located in Howell, Michigan, we are a fully licensed and insured HVAC contractor providing professional service to commercial and industrial customers throughout the surrounding area. We're looking for an HVAC Technicians to join our growing team and help us expand our service coverage throughout Northern Michigan. We are seeking a dependable, skilled HVAC professional who can work independently, provide excellent customer service, and handle residential and/or light commercial service work. This is an opportunity for the right technician to become an important part of our continued growth in the northern Michigan market.

Northern Michigan Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems Perform heating and cooling service calls Identify equipment issues and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements Complete preventative maintenance and system inspections Provide professional, courteous service to customers Maintain accurate service records and communicate job details clearly Maintain a clean and safe work environment Travel throughout the Northern Michigan service area as needed Represent the company professionally while working in customers' homes and businesses Qualifications An HVAC technician with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Residential & Commercial HVAC service is a plus Knowledge of heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and HVAC controls Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently Strong communication and customer-service skills Valid driver's license and dependable transportation EPA certification preferred/required as applicable Michigan HVAC credentials or applicable licensing preferred Professional appearance and a positive attitude Ability to safely lift equipment and materials and perform the physical requirements of the job What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a technician who takes pride in their work, values customers, and wants to be part of a growing company.
