Since 1978, Kapala Heating & Air Conditioning has been servicing and installing heating and air conditioning systems in Lapeer and surrounding counties. Located in a new, 10,000 square foot facility, we currently have an immediate opening for a full-time, experienced HVAC Service Technician to begin a career with us.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and service any brand of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems including split systems, packaged units, boilers, heat pumps, mini splits, water heaters and more (training will be provided in any areas needed.) Perform routine preventative maintenance on commercial and residential equipment. On call rotation with other service technicians - 4:30 PM to 11 pm on weekdays and 8 AM - 11 PM on weekends. Educate and inform customers of indoor air quality and HVAC products and services. Use of tablet and software for dispatching to job sites, creating invoices, estimates and collecting payment. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures of the company.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of service technician experience. Problem solving and critical thinking skills Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams Mechanically inclined Ability to handle physical workload Insurable driving record
