Overview We are seeking a skilled Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems, electrical systems, and the use of hand tools to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. The technician will play a vital role in providing reliable climate control solutions for our clients across various settings. Duties Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation and longevity. Repair and troubleshoot HVAC/R equipment, diagnosing issues accurately using electrical system knowledge and hand tools. Install new HVAC systems, including ductwork, units, and related components, adhering to safety standards and specifications. Conduct troubleshooting on refrigeration units to identify faults and implement effective repairs. Use hand tools proficiently for installation, repair, and maintenance tasks. Inspect electrical systems associated with HVAC/R equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards. Document service activities, repairs performed, and system conditions for maintenance records. Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure timely completion of projects and services. Requirements Proven experience in HVAC/R system repair, maintenance, and installation. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, electrical systems, and troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in using hand tools relevant to HVAC/R work. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients. Valid technical certification or license related to HVAC/R is preferred but not mandatory based on experience. Ability to work in various environments and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
