Responsibilities Install residential HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment according to schematics and design specifications Conduct system diagnostics using electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters to identify issues with electrical systems and mechanical components Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, refrigeration units, plumbing connections, and building automation systems to ensure optimal performance Utilize hand tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to assemble, modify, or repair HVAC systems with precision Interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to facilitate accurate installation and maintenance procedures Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to enhance longevity and efficiency while adhering to safety protocols including EPA regulations for refrigerants Provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions, maintenance tips, and addressing client questions professionally Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on HVAC system installation or related mechanical systems repair Service technician experience working with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems in residential settings Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics interpretation, electrical diagnostics, and building automation systems Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues Familiarity with plumbing connections related to HVAC installations and ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus Ability to operate hand tools efficiently along with specialized equipment such as welding tools or refrigerant recovery devices Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction during every interaction Join us in delivering top-tier residential climate solutions!
