Position Summary:

HVAC Service Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and HVAC equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and service calls. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and airflow issues. Explain findings, repairs, and maintenance recommendations to customers. Document completed work and maintain accurate service records. Follow safety procedures and coordinate with office/field teams. Support customer satisfaction and efficient system operation.

Qualifications:

Hands-on HVAC maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting experience. EPA Section 608 certification or ability to obtain it. Knowledge of HVAC systems, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service documentation. Strong customer service and communication skills. HVAC/vocational training or certification preferred. Familiarity with energy-efficient HVAC solutions preferred. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces/weather conditions.

Pay:

$30.04 - $32.02 per hour
