Job Description
Job Overview BTR of Minnesota specializes in air conditioning and heating system installation, repair, and maintenance for all types of trucks and heavy equipment. This includes virtually all types of equipment whether it needs engine hydraulic or electric driven system components. BTR is also the largest parts distributor of Red Dot, Webasto, Proheat, SnowEx, and Fisher. We are locally owned and operated, and have been in the metro since 1981. Duties Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of heating and air conditioning units in shop or in fied Troubleshoot and repair snow plows and spreaders in the shop Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and component inspections to prevent system failures. Meet requirements for certifications Communicate effectively & professionally with customers Maintain positive interactions with parts department & customers Maintain detailed service logs, inspection reports, and maintenance records for all performed work. Follow company safety standards Take responsibility of inventory control & management on service truck Manage service scheduling Operate a company truck safely to transport tools or equipment between job sites. Ensure compliance with safety standards and local codes while working on complex HVAC/R (Refrigeration) systems involving ammonia or other refrigerants. Requirements . Familiarity with HVAC/R standards, safety protocols, and local building codes is essential. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Technically minded people with experience in the following industries have also been a good fit for this job position: HVAC Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Electrical Diagnostics, Diesel Mechanic. Strong communication skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments.
