Job Description

Heating & Cooling Exxperts is a well established Twin Cities HVAC company seeking an experienced HVAC Installer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a skilled installer who takes pride in quality workmanship, attention to detail, professional customer service, solving complex heating and cooling issues, and building complete heating and cooling systems that are designed to perform reliably for years to come. You'll install and maintain a wide variety of residential and light-commercial HVAC systems throughout the Twin Cities metro, including furnaces, air conditioning systems, boilers, hydronic systems, controls, ductwork, and related HVAC electrical components. What You'll Do Install residential and light-commercial HVAC systems from start to finish. Install furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, hydronic systems, ductwork, controls, water heaters, and related HVAC equipment. Read blueprints, installation drawings, and manufacturer specifications. Perform equipment start-ups and operational testing. Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company quality standards. Troubleshoot installation issues and make necessary adjustments. Maintain a clean, organized job site and company vehicle. Complete installation documentation accurately and on time. Communicate with the office regarding scheduling, materials, and project updates. Deliver a professional customer experience on every job. What We're Looking For We're looking for more than just an HVAC installer, we're looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career. At Heating & Cooling Exxperts, you'll be in charge of your own truck and occasionally work alongside the owner,, who brings nearly 40 years of hands-on HVAC experience. His goal isn't simply to complete installations; it's to pass along the craftsmanship, troubleshooting skills, and practical knowledge he's gained over decades in the industry. If you're the type of installer who enjoys learning, wants to expand your skills, and takes pride in doing things the right way, you'll have opportunities here that are difficult to find at larger companies. For installers who are eager to continue growing, this position offers opportunities to expand into advanced diagnostics, service work, boiler systems, hydronics, controls, and other specialized areas as your experience and skills develop. You will get the opportunity to work alongside the owner to learn about any of the systems you do not have experience with.

Comfortable working independently while also collaborating closely with the owner and installation team. Can be a leader on the job. Preferred Qualifications HVAC education or approximately 2-3 years of full-time residential/light-commercial HVAC installation experience. Equivalent combinations of education and field experience will also be considered. EPA Section 608 Universal Certification. Valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Strong customer communication skills. Ability to safely work on ladders, in attics, basements, mechanical rooms, rooftops, and outdoor conditions. Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. Boiler and hydronic installation experience preferred. Minneapolis or St. Paul HVAC Competency Card is a plus. Experience with light-commercial HVAC systems is a plus.
