Job Description

AV / Home Theater Installer A locally owned home technology and installation company is seeking motivated individuals to join its growing team. This company specializes in residential audio/visual systems, home theater installations, TV mounting, and smart home solutions, delivering high-quality, customized setups for homeowners and short-term rental properties. Known for professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service, the team takes pride in creating seamless, user-friendly technology experiences while building lasting relationships with clients. The installer will work on customer job sites performing physical installation, cabling, system setup, and basic troubleshooting. This is a hands-on field position that requires professionalism, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Wage:
$25 to $30/hour to start, depending on experience

Full and Part-time options - flexible schedules
Essential Functions and Duties:
Install residential audio/video, home theater, and smart home systems Mount TVs, projectors, speakers, screens, and related equipment Pull, route, label, and terminate low-voltage wiring (Cat5/Cat6, speaker, coax, control cable) Set up, wire, test, and troubleshoot AV components, racks, and power systems Read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and job drawings to ensure quality installations Maintain professional job sites while communicating clearly with customers and documenting completed work
Qualifications:
Preferred experience in AV installation, low-voltage wiring, home theater or smart home systems, including TV mounting, cable routing, and reading wiring diagrams Comfortable using hand and power tools; basic computer and smartphone proficiency Strong work ethic with reliability, punctuality, and a customer-service mindset Willingness to learn technical skills and follow best installation and safety practices Physically able to lift 50-75 lbs and work safely on ladders, ceilings, attics, and crawlspaces Ability to pass pre-employment screenings and have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation High school diploma or equivalent Get in touch!
